His erotic demands test everything she believes…
When the fearless, larger-than-life Nathan Donovan becomes her boss, Kelsey Lane’s life is turned upside down. The multimillionaire wants her by his side, but his demands don’t end there.
Kelsey avoids romantic entanglements, especially with overwhelmingly dynamic men like Nathan. But she quickly discovers his attention and sensual desires ignite something deep inside her, leading her on a journey that tests everything she believes.
The youngest, boldest of the dynamic Donovan brothers, Nathan is accustomed to getting what he wants. And he focuses his attention on the smart, sexy Kelsey Lane. He quickly discovers she’s unlike any woman he’s ever known.
She meets him, desire for desire, getting deep inside him, destroying the barriers he keeps around his heart. He wonders, though, if she’s willing to give him the one thing he demands…

Despite not really falling in love with the second installment, I was still very excited to read this third book because Nathan has always been an interesting character. And I was right. This book really solidified Nathan’s character and his place as a Donovan. Unlike his two older brothers, Nathan was a good support system. He was often misinterpreted as a cheapskate, especially by the heroine, but that’s only because he took care of the financial aspect of the family business. He knew more about money than the rest. Seeing him as the dom that he is is definitely an entertaining feat.

I also liked the heroine because she was driven and career oriented. All the three heroines in this series were successful women in their field, but Kelsey was different in a way that she was warm and approachable. She had personal relationships with her co-workers. She worked great as an executive assistant even if she could easily demand for a higher position.

I like the chemistry between Nathan and Kelsey. I think chemistry was the main thing I couldn’t feel in the second book. But here, it was very evident. The kinky scenes were really scorching hot. If you’ve followed or started this series, you definitely don’t want to miss this book. The only thing now is that I can’t wait to see if Erin will also get her own story. She sounds like a very interesting heroine. Maybe Julien Bonds is her hero?

I really wanted to read this book because it’s the first book on Sierra Cartwright’s new series called The Donovan Dynasty. I don’t regret reading a single page from this book because it was hot, sexy, and entertaining. As a first book, it had everything necessary to get a reader’s interest in the series and hook them into reading on to the next books that are set to come out in the future.

Bind features a controlling hero who wanted to possess the heroine without giving a part of himself as well. Then we have a heroine who knows what she wants and is confident enough in herself to know when to pull back. I like that both Lara and Connor had great careers. Connor was, of course, successful in the corporate world. Lara, on the other hand, was also amazing, although her father kept on getting on her way. I like that even if Lara had control over most aspects of her life, she was a great sub to Connor. I also liked the secondary characters who were mentioned in the book, particularly the hero’s sister and the heroine’s neighbor.

However, the thing that will capture readers is the chemistry between the main characters. It is as explosive as two people can get. The sex scenes are crazy steamy. The banter and the dialogue are all good. I read this book in one day. That’s how much I enjoyed it. I am sure that the other books will be as enjoyable as this one.

This is a light and sweet friends-to-lovers story that I definitely enjoyed. I feel like I’m winning in the chance department because the two new-to-me authors that I took a chance on turned out pretty great. I’m really glad the publisher approved me for an ARC of this book. It’s my first book from Ms. Weiss, and I tell you now, this definitely won’t be the last.

I really like both main characters. The heroine was driven and career-oriented, but she was also soft and warm. The hero was a troubled firefighter who’s been through a tragic event where he lost someone and almost died himself. I like that their friendship saw both of them during their lowest times. I like the banter between the two protagonists. Another thing, I really enjoyed the secondary characters. I can’t wait to read more about the other firefighters, especially the heroine’s brothers.

Ms. Weiss has written a quick, easy, and enjoyable book that not only captures a reader’s attention through its entirety. It also introduced you to interesting characters that will surely pique your interest and will want any reader to watch out for more. I know, I myself will be waiting for the next books.

This is my first book from Coleen Kwan. I took a chance on this because the blurb sounded very promising. It’s a good thing the publisher approved me for an ARC thru NetGalley. I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the book. Before, when I used to read books from Entangled, I seldom give a rating of 4 because I always end up wanting more out of the book that the author failed to give. But I changed my expectations this time. I knew that this book would be within the category romance type, so it’s going to be quick, light, and easy. It won’t take me through a roller coaster of emotions. It won’t give me ups and downs and over-the-top drama. And by changing my expectations, I found that I really liked this book.

Both main characters were developed characters. The heroine comes from the wrong side. Her father had a wife when he got her mother pregnant. Her mother didn’t move on and was happy just being a poor man’s mistress. She was too focused on her looks and her happiness. She wasn’t a very good parent at all. But the heroine loved her all the same. The hero’s parents were the typical rich couple who looked down on almost everybody beneath them. But the hero was loyal to them all the same. The main conflict of the book, aside from the MCs having an unfinished business was the fact that they were rich and poor, or something like that.

I think that after this book, I will be looking into more books from Ms. Kwan, particularly the first book in her Pine Falls series. While I love complex stories, sometimes, books like this are like a breath of fresh air. It is, without a doubt, a great way to pass the time. Light, quick, easy, and full of sweet and funny moments. That’s what I got from this book.

Ending: HEAThis is my first book from this author. I gambled on this one because there’s not that many paranormal romance authors that I truly love, and I believe it’s time for me to venture out and find more PNR authors to watch out for. This book was originally released in 2009, but the publisher re-released it July 2016, with some changes in the book. I was really glad that I got the chance to read and review this because it ended up as a solid book that I certainly enjoyed.

Plot-wise, the story was solid. The heroine was a shifter who couldn’t shift and has been on her own, without a pack, for a decade because she was banished by her own when she had relations with the Alpha’s pack. She was a woman who could never be happy with a pure human, but she also knew that non-shifters were not welcome in the pack (or so she was made to believe). When she gets a letter from her sister, asking her to visit because her sister was going to have a mating ceremony, the heroine was still hesitant because being in a pack meant that it opened the possibility of going through the same hurts again. The hero is the Alpha of her sister’s new pack. And this Alpha is all about claiming her. The conflicts that came were surprisingly not from the pack but from some people from the heroine’s past.

Romance-wise, I like that their lines weren’t cheesy. Yes, it was very obvious that the hero was crazy and obsessive, but he didn’t say cliched lines that made me cringe. They were still normal dialogue between two people who are in love. It’s an insta-love kind of story, but when you’re dealing with shifters who are very in tuned with their animal side, insta-eveything can be expected. The sex scenes were hot and often, but they didn’t deter from the main story. If anything, those scenes further intensified the connection between the main characters.

I’m not sure how many installments have already been re-released since last year. What I do know, though, is that I will definitely check out the rest of the books of this series. I find that I really like this book, and I want to know if Crissy Smith is able to maintain that kind writing prowess in the succeeding books.

I live in Texas with my husband, daughter, and three Labrador retrievers. By day you can find me at my ‘day job’ buried under a pile of paperwork but at night I am at my computer creating new worlds!

I have always loved the paranormal. Shape-shifters, witches, and vampires have been my number one choice of reading material so when I strated to write it was the genre I chose.

I currently have several books released through Totally Bound. I have one long running series the Were Chronicles and in March 2014 a spin-off series the Shifter Chronicles will be revealed.

I also have several stand alone novellas and novels.

I am working hard to bring more stories to the readers so they can sit back and relax while losing themselves in the paranormal romance world.

I’m not crazy. It’s not amnesia. But I somehow lost a year of my life. When the cops and doctors think you’re out of your mind, but you still need answers, where else is there to turn but a private investigator? Sawyer is nothing you’d want in a friend- a little detached, cool, sarcastic, cocksure. But he’s everything you’d want in a private investigator- calm, capable, experienced, and just jaded enough by the darkness he’d seen to take a chance on some random girl who insists something more sinister must have happened to her than simple memory loss. But thrown together, trying to get to the root of my mystery, feelings that were most definitely not client/professional start to emerge.

I am a hug Jessica Gadziala fan. When I saw this book, I knew I just had to read it. There’s just something raw, dark, and thrilling about her books that entertain me no end.

All in all, this was a solid read. I really liked the heroine because even if she was victimized, abducted, and dumped, losing a year and two days of her life, she was still herself before being abducted. She had principles, a strong mind, and a brave spirit. I also enjoyed the hero because he was stable. He was also a bit funny and very loyal, especially to family.

The suspense and mystery in the book was predictable, but not outright. Once all the characters were mentioned, it was easy to guess who the perp was. But it was still fun to read how they solved the problem and just how much help the rest of the gang were. When I started this book, I didn’t know that this would be a first book in the series. But now that I know there are going to be books on the gang after this, well, I’m already excited and looking forward to them.

I have to admit that as much as I was looking forward to this book, I was a bit wary as well because the second book was just meh, and I didn’t want to be disappointed in case this book was the same. However, I braved the unknown. Mostly because I had to since I got this book free from NetGalley in exchange for a simple thing as giving an honest review. So here it goes…

This book was a solid installment. Nick has always been described as the easygoing brother. He was the one who could crack jokes, make things light. He was the one Ace punched during Cooper’s wedding, and he still didn’t raise hell or try to retaliate. He is also the one closest to Ace, who is now the black sheep in the clan. While I am still hugely anticipating Ace’s book, I have to say that I really enjoyed this book. Nick’s character was consistent with the previous books. The two previous couples were featured. Although the women played very minor roles, the other two Armstrong men were still vital to the story. It was their support that helped Nick and their honesty that grounded him as well.

The heroine was difficult for me to connect with at first, but when her real story was revealed, I started liking her more and more. Unlike the second book where the ending wasn’t thrilling, this book was a bit of an improvement. I still really like the first book because of that plane crash and Cooper’s amazing piloting skills, but Nick’s story comes in a close second.

Like I keep saying, I can’t wait to find out what Ace’s romance aspect will be and just how he is going to reconnect with his brothers. I hope the fourth book comes out soon!
