His erotic demands test everything she believes…
When the fearless, larger-than-life Nathan Donovan becomes her boss, Kelsey Lane’s life is turned upside down. The multimillionaire wants her by his side, but his demands don’t end there.
Kelsey avoids romantic entanglements, especially with overwhelmingly dynamic men like Nathan. But she quickly discovers his attention and sensual desires ignite something deep inside her, leading her on a journey that tests everything she believes.
The youngest, boldest of the dynamic Donovan brothers, Nathan is accustomed to getting what he wants. And he focuses his attention on the smart, sexy Kelsey Lane. He quickly discovers she’s unlike any woman he’s ever known.
She meets him, desire for desire, getting deep inside him, destroying the barriers he keeps around his heart. He wonders, though, if she’s willing to give him the one thing he demands…

Despite not really falling in love with the second installment, I was still very excited to read this third book because Nathan has always been an interesting character. And I was right. This book really solidified Nathan’s character and his place as a Donovan. Unlike his two older brothers, Nathan was a good support system. He was often misinterpreted as a cheapskate, especially by the heroine, but that’s only because he took care of the financial aspect of the family business. He knew more about money than the rest. Seeing him as the dom that he is is definitely an entertaining feat.

I also liked the heroine because she was driven and career oriented. All the three heroines in this series were successful women in their field, but Kelsey was different in a way that she was warm and approachable. She had personal relationships with her co-workers. She worked great as an executive assistant even if she could easily demand for a higher position.

I like the chemistry between Nathan and Kelsey. I think chemistry was the main thing I couldn’t feel in the second book. But here, it was very evident. The kinky scenes were really scorching hot. If you’ve followed or started this series, you definitely don’t want to miss this book. The only thing now is that I can’t wait to see if Erin will also get her own story. She sounds like a very interesting heroine. Maybe Julien Bonds is her hero?

I loved Bind. It’s because of that book that I was excited to proceed with the rest of the series. However, I have to say that I had a hard time finishing Brand. I liked this book, it just wasn’t as amazing as I thought it would be. First, it took me long to connect with the main characters. Sofia seemed pretty interesting, but there was something about her that I just couldn’t relate to. However, it was hardest to connect with Cade. I get the guilty, troubled cowboy hero theme that was going on with him. I just couldn’t see him as an amazing dom.

I loved Connor. I could clearly see him as this controlling man who dominated both in and out of bed. Cade, though, well, it’s a lot of work to reconcile his dominance. I like him as a hero, though, so all is not lost. I like that Nathan was the one who let him realize that their father wasn’t a perfect man, and that things were meant to happen the way they did. I can’t wait for the next book. I am hoping to love it more than I did this one.

I really wanted to read this book because it’s the first book on Sierra Cartwright’s new series called The Donovan Dynasty. I don’t regret reading a single page from this book because it was hot, sexy, and entertaining. As a first book, it had everything necessary to get a reader’s interest in the series and hook them into reading on to the next books that are set to come out in the future.

Bind features a controlling hero who wanted to possess the heroine without giving a part of himself as well. Then we have a heroine who knows what she wants and is confident enough in herself to know when to pull back. I like that both Lara and Connor had great careers. Connor was, of course, successful in the corporate world. Lara, on the other hand, was also amazing, although her father kept on getting on her way. I like that even if Lara had control over most aspects of her life, she was a great sub to Connor. I also liked the secondary characters who were mentioned in the book, particularly the hero’s sister and the heroine’s neighbor.

However, the thing that will capture readers is the chemistry between the main characters. It is as explosive as two people can get. The sex scenes are crazy steamy. The banter and the dialogue are all good. I read this book in one day. That’s how much I enjoyed it. I am sure that the other books will be as enjoyable as this one.

I was just supposed to be helping my father settle his debt, work out a payment plan, set things right.
Little did I know that cold, calculating, dangerous Byron St. James didn’t want his money back. Oh, no. He wanted me as payment…
* This is a ‘jerk who redeems himself’ story. And make no mistake, our hero IS a jerk to the heroine for a good part of the book. If that isn’t your thing, this might not be the book for you.

This was my first Jessica Gadziala book. I read this some time last year because I saw it a lot on my newsfeed and the story made me curious. I didn’t regret a single thing. I definitely loved this book. It’s not as dark as the ones I’m used to, but the characters had a bit of depth and development throughout the book, which is way more than I’ve seen with many new authors I’ve tried.

See, here, everywhere I go, there’s new authors popping up endlessly. There’s tropes and fads in romance that produce dozens and dozens of the same types of stories from different authors. The books vary only in characters and setting and execution, but the plot is all the same. I’ve lived through the vampires, the doms, the billionaires, the bikers, the stepbrothers, whatever else actually became popular. And I’ve tried new authors as many times as I could. Lots of time, those gambles didn’t work for me. But this gamble on Ms.. Gadziala did.

Maybe it was because I was on the right mindset when I read the book. Maybe there was something about the characters that made it easy for me to connect with them. Maybe it’s because of the author’s writing style. Whatever it was, this book definitely ended up being a five-star read for me. Yes, the hero is a jerk. Yes, he manipulated lots of things. Yes, he had the heroine at a disadvantage. But you know what I enjoyed, I enjoyed watching him fall. I enjoyed watching them develop feelings. I enjoyed reading about the explosive chemistry. I enjoyed seeing how they evolved from the first page until the ending. I got lost in the story, I didn’t even think of finding faults anymore. After this book, I’ve been a constant fan of this author, and to this day, Debt is still my favorite from her.

Hero: Alyssa Barrow
Heroine: Harrison Kemp

For years, Alyssa has been going to bed with a memory. Is she ready to wake up with a fantasy?   Some people wait their whole lives to find their soul mate, but not Alyssa Barrow. She met Rob at nineteen, and they were set to live happily ever after—until he became ill. In his final days, Rob urged his beautiful, young wife not to abandon happiness—or pleasure. He even left her a special gift, a sexy game plan to help her move on: Thirty cards with instructions for thirty days of passion. You’ll know when the time is right, he’d said. Now it’s two years later, and when Alyssa meets her hot new neighbor, Harrison Kemp, she begins to think the right time is right now…   From his sculpted thighs to his devilish grin, Harrison is the kind of man women want. Before she can lose her nerve, Alyssa tells Harrison about her long-ignored cards…and asks him to help her fulfill them. It’s a favor he’s more than happy to, um, perform. With his skillful touch, and the hot press of his lips against her skin, Alyssa finds herself re-awakening to life—and a host of other sensations. But what began as not-so-innocent fun soon grows into true intimacy, and Alyssa realizes she’s opening herself up not just to sex…but to love. When it comes to a future with Harrison, what’s really in the cards?   Saucy, heartwarming, and insightful, 30 Days explores the agony—and the ecstasy—of starting over, and how a little encouragement, and a little courage, can go a long way…

textspace_1485286734_57e165f8

I think this book has a very good premise. I found it bittersweet and touching that the heroine’s dead husband himself was the one helping her to move on. I feel sad because it’s not easy losing the person you love. I feel hopeful too because nobody should live the rest of their lives without having someone to share it with.

30 Days is an amped up chick lit. When I say amped up, I am referring to the sex part. This is a woman’s journey from losing a husband to going through the sex cards he left her and finally finding a man she could have another shot at love with. Sadly, the core of the book was the thing I liked the least about it.

Everything was seen through the heroine’s POV. I would have liked to know more about the hero as well. I would have liked to get a bigger view of the love story. The fact that all I could read about was the heroine made me feel like I was forced to like her and see things her way.

Having said all that, I will still say that it was a good, solid read that I quite enjoyed. I’ve read other books from this author before, and I know she writes really steamy scenes, and she’s great at those. The same is true in this book. There’s supposed to be a second book, and based on this book alone, I’d say the next installment is very much worth reading too.
